And the unemployment rate is closer to 7.6% than 6.7%.
How convenient those original estimates were before 3 byelections.

It never happened.
Population was growing the whole time.
Per capita GDP growth was revised DOWN: 0.7%, not the 1.7% they claimed
The Q2 growth that did show up came mostly from oil exports, not policy.
Real unemployment is likely closer to 7.6%, not the 6.7% reported.
The economy was NOT recovering.
The numbers were just hiding how bad it is.

Except I don’t get a Groceries and Essentials benefit cheque and we don’t qualify for qualify for child care, dental care, other national school food program because we have private insurance and don’t have kids.

My hope is David Eby’s government will at the very least be reduced to a minority and that this BC election will break the spell that the word Trump has over Canadians.
Mark Carney is going to be watching very closely because I have no doubt he is going to call an early election before Trump completes his term.
