Shaders is officially open source. Can't wait to see how you ship magic ✨
Big news.
Shaders is now open source 🔥

This is a launch video 🔥
We open sourced Void v1.1.11 and we made a music video for it.

Proud to announce shaders.com as the newest reactbits.dev Diamond sponsor!
Shaders recently went open source, making this a natural fit for two projects pushing creative web development forward.
Thank you @npm_i_shaders / @marchantweb!

One thing I really love about the Shaders OSS update is this tiny detail: a preview bar where you can visualize any preset in different UI contexts.
It's surprising how much heavy lifting it does ✨

Very happy with how simple this workflow is to setup in a new project. DX for the win.
Yesterday we open sourced Shaders.
Today your agent gets a skill for it 🔥
Run `npx shaders` in your project. It guides you through setting up Shaders and installing the official skill. Then just ask your agent to ship some shader magic and watch it work.

got to work with @marchantweb on some lovely improvements to @npm_i_shaders
still in awe seeing what a solo founder can build these days. rooting for Simon ✊🏻
Just gave Shaders a UI refresh ✨
Easier navigation for presets, sections, components, and docs. Cleaner layout, better exploration. Thanks to @vanjek for the inspo!

Preset Spotlight: Pixel Ink
Playing with the parameters on this one. Crank up the Wobble for a more technical glitch look, or adjust particle size and count to shift between dense and sparse vibes. Full gradient color cycle built in, or pick any colors you want 🎨

Turning 30 today!
Celebrating by publishing an article on @codrops 🥳
✨ From rays to meshes: the making of @vercel's vgpu hero.
@matiNotFound breaks down how he turned light into geometry with shaders, glass, and clever performance tricks.

The new Irradiance component can be combined with any other effect in Shaders, like ASCII, for some wild looks 🔥
Got nerd-sniped by @matiNotFound's work and built this 🔦
WebGPU path-tracing in a compute shader pass. Supports multiple light sources with realistic light bounce and surface illumination. Bounce light around your logo.
New Irradiance component available now.
