Today our nation lost an American icon. Dolly Parton stood on the global stage for many decades and helped define the cultural image of our nation. Dolly was an Ambassador for American music and entertainment. She will be missed, but her legacy will continue. May she rest in peace.

Fidel Castro was a complete failure at everything except destroying Cuba and impoverishing, jailing and murdering his own people I strongly suggest that anyone tempted to try and follow his example should carefully reconsider, because if they do they would be dooming themselves to failure as well

Adys Lastres Morera is the sister of the Executive President of GAESA, the Cuban military-controlled financial conglomerate that steals millions in aid for the Cuban people at the behest of the regime. Morera was managing real estate assets and living in Florida, while also aiding Havana's communist regime, until I terminated her permanent resident status. I am pleased to announce that today, she was arrested and is now in the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
