That means getting the details right across two systems: simple pairing, high-quality, low-latency streaming, displays you can place anywhere, and a mouse that moves naturally across them.

We’ve also added support for using your headset’s microphone and cameras in Windows, and joining meetings as your avatar.

We've been hearing from people who want friends and family to try the latest Windows features once they're broadly available, but sometimes they don't show up right away when checking for updates.
That's because updates can roll out in waves. If you'd like to get new features as soon as they're available for your device, go to Settings > Windows Update and turn on "Get the latest updates as soon as they're available."
As more Windows Quality improvements make their way into retail builds, this is an easy way to be among the first people to receive them when they're ready for your device.

As a parent, I think a lot about how kids and teens experience technology: how they learn, play, create, connect, and build healthy habits around the devices they use every day.
For Windows, that means doing the platform work to make age-appropriate experiences easier to build across the ecosystem, while also improving the everyday tools families rely on: faster approvals, clearer activity reporting, more transparency, and more control.

Last week was a good one with Windows Insiders in Berlin, Cologne, and Prague, plus time with the team at Gamescom.
Good conversations, direct feedback, familiar faces, and new connections. Thank you to everyone who came out and spent time with us.
One thing that stuck with me is how much this community wants to help Windows get better and help more people understand and try what we’re building.
We want to keep finding more ways to share earlier, listen openly, and bring Insiders closer to the work as it takes shape. If you have ideas for how we can do that, we’d love to hear them in the comments.

Happy Gamescom. Big shoutout to @carl_ledbetter and the team, and our partners at IKEA on the launch of the YXSTABY collection.
This one has been fun to watch come together. Designers working with designers, bringing together the product legacies of Xbox and IKEA to think about how gaming actually happens at home: not in one perfect setup, but wherever play fits into the day.
On the couch. At the kitchen table. In shared spaces. Before dinner, after homework, or when the room needs to become something else again.
What I love is that the collection looks beyond the screen and controller. The chair, the table, the storage, where the gear goes when the game is over. All of those details shape the experience.
Fun detail: the team wanted an IKEA-style name that included ABXY from the Xbox controller. The team at Ikea, found YXSTABY, a small town in Sweden, and it became the name of the collection.

Hope your summer is off to a great start, Windows Insiders.
A few weeks ago, we wrapped the first leg of our Windows Insider meetup tour in London.
This leg took us from Seattle to NYC, Hyderabad, Taipei, San Francisco, and London.
What I’ll remember most is the time spent with Insiders in each city: the feedback, the questions, the stories, and the energy you brought to every stop.
