I'm honored & SO happy to share that my book Jewish Primitivism has won MLA's book prize for Germanic languages! It's extra special for me that a book about Jewish lit - in large part about Yiddish - has won this distinction. It means so much. My thanks to the prize committee!

Beyond excited to be working with @JuliaHarte1 and to bring this book to @stanfordpress - Julia’s project has already given me so much to think about and I can’t wait to hear about her travels to the Philippines, Cuba, Algeria, Greece and elsewhere!
It's official! I'm writing a book for @margoirvin @stanfordpress about Americans who supported revolutionary liberation causes beyond their borders, and the ways the U.S. government targeted them as a result. I'll be retracing some of their steps in coming months. Stay tuned!
