Mixed feelings on the current situation with Iran. War is a terrible and wasteful thing. As a former marine, I understand that. Also, this should have been done back in 1983 when they were weak and they were a whole bunch of us marines that would’ve gone in with pocket knives if that’s all we had to get payback for our brothers who died in the battalion landing team barracks in Beirut. Our leaders back then thought that it would be OK if we just retreated. They didn’t realize what they unleashed and allowed to happen. I pray for the success of our troops and make it as quick and violent as possible.
