Meta has killed Vision Pro Personas with its new Holograms on its VR headset and display Ray-Bans. The first time I used it I joked that it wasn't working because it was so realistic. I had no idea it was AI.

These launch in spring 2027. The interface is basically the same as the Vision Pro but it has an absolutely bonkers tabletop virtual keyboard that blows the Vision Pro keyboard out of the water.
NEW: Meta debuts $1,299 VR Glasses at 100 grams by offloading the battery and compute to an external pack. In a demo, it's pretty close to the Apple Vision Pro at less than half the price and 1/6th the weight. They are incredible. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

The Apple Watch app switcher is back in watchOS 27.2
Apple has brought back the App Switcher! On watchOS 26 and earlier, you could access the App Switcher by double-clicking the Digital Crown, then turning the Digital Crown to navigate through your recently used apps. You could also swipe left on an app and tap the "X" button to remove it from the App Switcher. With watchOS 27.2 beta, Apple has changed how you access it. Instead of double-clicking the Digital Crown, you now press and hold the bottom of the screen while inside an app to bring up the App Switcher, as shown in the video.

Apple’s new focus on influencers for events and product “reviews” — people who say nothing but positive things and never ask a legitimate question of Apple executives in exchange for free devices, travel and more, is a serious issue. This echo chamber will lead to mediocrity.
Early impressions: The vast majority of people with an iPhone 17 Pro shouldn’t upgrade to the 18 Pro unless they’re trying to lock in trade-in value toward next year. And, burgundy is a step down from orange. The overall reality is far different than what you’re seeing on TikTok.

This is super refreshing! Apple's new head of hardware engineering Tom Marieb, when asked about the crease getting bigger over time on the Duo, says, "Hold us accountable to that, please." Never heard that one before. techradar.com/phones/iphone/…
