Happy Birthday @litaford
I didn't tell Lita what I was up to and when she walked into the studio she laughed and said, "What's going on here? It looks like a construction site! Now give me the hard hat and let's get to work!"

Sad to hear about the passing of Cheetah Chrome. I photographed him at Max’s Kansas City in NYC on Feb. 8, 1979. He loved the camera, and I was lucky to catch that smile and smirk. I didn’t know I was capturing rock ’n’ roll history—I was just living it. RIP Cheetah.
Looking across the water toward New York City, I remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001
Monmouth County, NJ where I live, lost 147 members of our community in the World Trade Center tragedy. We will never forget 🇺🇸

DANZIG released its self-titled debut album August 30, 1988.
I needed to produce a great band shot to be used as a gatefold photo in their album. If they wanted to be tough guys, I decided I'd just make them look like the toughest guys out there.
