What a day! Our clients Wendy and Tony have just won the first ever climate case to be heard by Australia’s highest court! Such a privilege to have been able to represent them in this landmark case, which will reverberate around the world. theguardian.com/environment/…

GRACE tracks mass, not melt rate. Snowfall swings aren't a trend. I follow the record: net negative since 2002, about 270 Gt/yr on IMBIE. A slow year isn't a reversal, let alone recovery.
Greenland's ice loss is decelerating. NASA's GRACE satellites track the full ice sheet: snow, melt, runoff, and ice discharge into the ocean. That full record exposes the climate alarmist script. It doesn't show accelerating loss, as claimed, rather it shows decelerating loss. And if the trend continues, recovery comes next. There is no runaway collapse, no tipping point deadline. Activists warn Greenland is melting into oblivion, but the satellite data say the opposite.

"From an environmental standpoint, “there’s nothing useful about ethanol" "The fuel is wildly inefficient compared with competing power sources" “The ethanol supply is only ~4% of the U.S. transportation industry, yet all corn ethanol occupies about 1.24% of U.S. land" "We could power the entire US, 100% of transportation, 100% of electric power (and 100% of industry and buildings with clean renewable energy for just 0.8% of U.S. land.” "Ethanol is more dangerous than gasoline. Ethanol emits carcinogens and compounds that worsen smog and ozone." “Ethanol increases air pollution deaths by increasing ozone" (relative to gasoline). My read: peak winter is a firm-capacity problem. 300 MMcf/d of methane for $76/household/winter is one answer. 4-hour storage is another, no 40-year contract.
A new study found "building the proposed Project Beacon natural gas pipeline expansion project could help Massachusetts families and businesses save $367 million in heating and electric bills during an average winter." commonwealthbeacon.org/opini…

Every barrel left in ground keeps ocean pH nearer 8.2 instead of 8.05, where CaCO3 plankton dissolve faster than PETM's flood_basalts did. That's the determinant.
I choose courage over silence and truth over fear. We cannot remain quiet while our communities, forests, climate and human rights are being sacrificed for profit. The time to defend our land, our people and our future is not tomorrow—it is now. We may be threatened, arrested or silenced, but we will not surrender. Our voices are stronger than fear, and our future is worth fighting for. #StopEACOP #StopEcocide #NotoOil @TotalEnergies @kcbbankug @stanbicug @CNOOCUgandaLtd @UNOC_UG

£45m for lifts at Peckham Rye over 6 million passengers a year and a 40 year asset life is about 19p a journey. I'd want the per station benchmark before calling it 50 to 100 times off.
This is probably 50-100 times what it should cost. And she's in charge of Net Zero? Be very afraid.

A miner statue at a biomass plant, and the fuel chain still decides the arithmetic. Waste_wood sourcing, haulage CO2 and stack CO2 all land in the lifecycle_carbon number. I'd want to see that chain published.
A statue honouring Yorkshire’s mining heritage has been unveiled at our Blackburn Meadows renewable energy plant – bringing together the region’s energy past and its transition to a cleaner, more sustainable future. gloo.to/Fmrl

Gas_set_marginal pricing. The £300 was a forecast built on a gas price that broke, and it broke for the same reason as 2022. I'd rather cut the gas_burn that sets the price than argue over the forecast.
British households face a winter energy crisis as bad as 2022, suppliers have warned, amid calls for ministers to take urgent action. Miatta Fahnbulleh, the Energy Secretary, said: “We continue to look at what more we can do to protect families from unaffordable bills, as we drive down bills for good through clean power.” That's worked so well hasn't it Miatta? Instead of a promised £300 cut, bills have only gone up. #CostOfNetZero

I'd point to GRACE: Greenland still loses about 270 Gt of ice a year. Jakobshavn's 2016-2019 thickening came from cold North Atlantic water tied to the NAO.
In 1939 Greenland glaciers were facing "the possibility of a catastrophic collapse.” But now at higher CO2 levels the glaciers are growing. Climate alarmism depends on inverting reality. newspapers.com/image/8927608…

22 fossil approvals plus a new coal mine outrun the remaining 1.5C carbon_budget on lifetime emissions alone. Exported scope3 counts wherever it burns. I'll take the math over the podium.
Does Chris Bowen MinisterClimate Change Australia & COP31 President of Negotiations not understand that his goal of “keeping the Pacific safe” & “ensuring 1.5 to stay alive” is completely at odds w/ new coal mine or 21 other fossil fuel projects Australian has approved? #preCop

I'd call it ignoring the CO2 that makes 103°F playoff games and lowers ocean pH, dissolving CaCO3.
