Am I crazy for thinking most Jev use cases can be accomplished with similar quality faster and cheaper by using embeddings?
Linear is next level: they integrated Jev into the emoji picker already and it’s AMAZING
(This is response on a thread on how Google Docs’ emoji picker has been the same unusable mess for ~20 years; the ✅ icon still unfindable on my free and paid accounts)

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately @jaredpalmer @shuding
We are actively working on adding support for @OpenAI functions to the @vercel AI SDK.
So far, we think there are 3 main UX flows that need to be addressed with the new function API:
1. Automatically execute the function
2. Automatically execute the function, but show intention and progress to the user
3. Only execute the function if given user confirmation
By covering these flows, we should be able to dramatically simplify building rich UIs for AI agents

Projects now run from one conversation, starting in Claude Code. You describe what needs doing, and Claude directs parallel threads that keep working after you close your laptop.
In beta today for select Pro and Max users in cloud sessions; coming to all Claude users soon.
