Excited to hack with this during the weekend
🚨 side project alert 🚨 Announcing Muse Gadgets, an open source ESP32 firmware and Linux sdk so that you can make hardware devices that work with Muse. Grab an API token from gadgets.muse.ai and point your favorite coding agent at the github repo to build your own peripherals for Muse.

This is such a top-notch work. Some of the interaction patters here are the future.
Introducing Project Continuum by @runwayml_labs, a new operating system research application built around real-time video interfaces. Today, we're sharing an early look at four new ways of interacting with your computer: Portals, Visual Thinking, Responsive Video Interfaces and Interactive Worlds. Interface World Models, like Solaris, are reimagining what an interface can be.

Customizable software is great, especially when big companies still can’t figure out how to make a good default 😅
You can now mod Claude Code: - Change how it behaves - Customize the UI - Swap in your own features Write one with a few lines of TypeScript, or have Claude build it for you. Mods ship inside plugins, so you install them with /plugin in the CLI or desktop app. A few examples:

Dots are more capable on their own than they might seem ⭕️
Fun note from Tibo at the closing q&a of DevDay: dots get their own Linux cloud computer, and that cloud computer comes preloaded with apps like Blender! I checked with my dot to get a fuller list of the preloaded apps and tools

Too early to say, but hopefully OpenAI isn’t trying to bite off more than it can chew. Historically, they haven’t been great at splitting their attention across too many directions at once. Have a good DevDay.

With Insta360's Spatial Capture officially released in the US today, we can finally announce our partnership with @Insta360. Yes — Insta360’s Spatial Capture feature is powered by KIRI Engine. By combining 360° cameras with KIRI Engine’s 3D Gaussian Splatting technology, we’re making it dramatically easier to capture large real-world environments and turn them into immersive 3D spaces. One of the biggest breakthroughs here is the capture workflow. Compared with existing 360° Gaussian Splatting workflows, Spatial Capture is dramatically simpler We believe 360 cameras can become one of the most natural ways to capture the world in 3D — and this collaboration is a big step toward making that happen.

Fable 5.5 would be a banger to drop during OpenAI dev day. Code red indeed 🔴
Introducing Claude Sonnet 5.5, the second model in the Claude 5.5 family. It’s a clear upgrade over Sonnet 5, runs more than 30% faster, and costs up to 30% less for most work.

This device looks great, but it's not fair to call it VR glasses imo with such a limited field of view. Also, I hope that Spring 2027 release date is for the team to redesign Horizon OS from the ground up for the eye and hand tracking interactions. Current OS was made for controllers, and it shows everywhere in the UI.
$META just unveiled $1,299 VR glasses weighing only 100g by moving the battery and compute into an external pack. Bigger shift is that Muse becomes the interface because Zuck says you can “just talk to it” while any flat surface can become a keyboard.

Heading to Meta Connect, so I built a Meta Ray-Ban Display add-on for the app I'm building, ChatOBD. Live telemetry, current street, engine codes the second they pop up, and the stickers you earn driving. Your car's been talking this whole time. Now you can talk back → chatobd.com

It remembers, too. Every drive gets logged on its own, with the route and a replay. Your maintenance lives in one place, and you earn stickers along the way. Most cars have no memory of their own. Now yours does.

About the video: the recording puts the HUD front and center so you can see it. In the glasses it sits in the bottom-right corner. Glance at it when you want, and the road stays clear 🛣️

This was a big ARKit inspiration for me back in the day. Poor mobile AR 🫡
RIP Apple Park Visitor Center 3D Model 🫡 November 17, 2017 - July 22, 2026 (8 years, 8 Months) I got to experience it one last time about a month and a half before it closed down.

the right way to use model capabilities is not to ship 10x more features to prod it's to spend more time understanding your users, trying experiments, building prototypes, learning about things you don't understand so that you can ship things that actually work
