I've been redrawing the icons we use at @pierrecomputer. Along the way, I've been whipping up plugins to help me manage them—like this Layer Swap tool for "composite icons." Allows me to swap every instance of each layer with ease. Much faster, much easier.

I've had two annoying macOS Tahoe bugs the last several months with no clear fixes.
— Wallpaper changes to that default Tahoe beach shit multiple times daily. Unplug displays, close/open lid, restart, etc.
— Apps just stop showing up in Spotlight.
Nothing has worked.

Everyone at @pierrecomputer knows I'm a huge Cursor fan, but that has never included their agent UI. For some reason though, @conductor_build hits different for me and I love it. UI is similar, but agents seem to pickup my style/voice/prefs way more easily. PR flow is nice, too.

Thank you, Apple design team! If this is true, window design is much better in Golden Gate over Tahoe. The Tahoe-style layering of the sidebar was an unnecessary visual complication that no one needed. Give me defined window and UI boundaries (and sane corners), please.

Hot take, most Golden Gate icons are an improvement and the Tahoe liquid glass icon aesthetic is a blurry, frosted layering without any other glass qualities. Glass is sharp, polished, affects light, etc. We didn't get much of that in Tahoe icons. Not perfect, but I like.
