Today was a day filled with sadness and heartache. Today, we had to say goodbye... to our dear friend Lemon, who tragically lost his life just two days ago in the war. His sudden departure has left us shocked and overcomed with disbelief. We never imagined that such a vibrant and joyous soul could be taken from us so abruptly. Just three days ago, Lemon and I exchanged a few sentences about Starlink and its English plugs (I must admit, I forgot to send him the EU plug adapter). He was keen on visiting UK and Scotland when the war is over. Lemon always spoke fondly of his 'South African Mom,' @WarriorAntFella whose generous support helped him and his unit through even the darkest of times. His friend @dwolosiuk, who courageously risked his life to ensure Lemon had the necessary equipment. It demonstrated the profound bond and friendship they shared. @NAFO_Sloski who organised fundraisers for Lemon's unit (we have just shared a video of how happy Lemon was when he received Lowa boots that he had dreamed about since he was a teenager, and he didn't think his dream would come true in the times of war). Adam, Edyta, Piotr, Tomasz, and Jakub who also supported him and his unit. Lemon's boundless energy and zest for life touched us all, particularly through his humorous and uplifting videos. His absence has left an irreplaceable void in our hearts. As Lemon watches over his brothers from the heavens above, we pledge to continue supporting his unit and preserving his memory. Though he may be gone, his spirit will forever live in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear friend - Lemon. 💔🇺🇦

Our dear friend @dwolosiuk AKA Kerakles has just completed one of the most meaningful projects we’ve ever had the privilege to support: delivering a fully restored mobile laundry unit to soldiers on the frontlines in Ukraine—specifically, the K-2 Battalion of 54th Mechanised Brigade. It might not sound extraordinary at first. But in the trenches—where mud, cold, and exhaustion wear people down—something as simple as clean, dry clothing becomes a quiet act of dignity, comfort, and hope. Getting there wasn’t easy. The truck broke down early on. Repairs dragged on for weeks. Drivers were scarce. Border crossings were slow and unpredictable. But through sheer determination, community effort, and a bit of stubborn magic, the truck made it. And now—it’s there. Fully operational. In daily use. Offering frontline soldiers a small but powerful reminder that they’re not forgotten. The truck has already been delivered. It’s already changing lives. Now, Kerakles just needs help covering the final costs. Today, we mourn the loss of a doctor Igor, a true hero, who dedicated his life to save others in the most harrowing of circumstances. In the relentless chaos of war, this individual stood on the frontline—not with weapon, but with a stethoscope and a steadfast heart, offering light and hope in the darkest of times. Doctors in war zones are often overlooked when we think of heroes. Yet, they face unimaginable pressures daily. They treat the injured with unwavering care, even as the walls around them shake with uncertainty, wondering if the stabilisation centers they work in will hold. They stay by the side of soldiers and civilians offering their expertise, their compassion, and often their very soul. Doctor Igor worked tirelessly, pouring his energy into every patient, every heartbeat, even when his own was faltering. In his quiet way, he showed courage beyond measure, choosing to stand where many could not. He left a light on for others, even when his own world grew dim. We must remember that those who heal others also need healing. The burden of constant life-and-death decisions, the fear of airstrikes, and the heartbreak of witnessing lives slip away—all of this takes a toll. It is a silent battle that few see, but it is one they face every single day. Let us honor this doctor and all those who walk this path, giving their all to save lives while braving dangers most cannot imagine. They, too, are heroes—no less than the soldiers they stand beside. Our friends from the @RedPoppyCharity visited Mykolaiv. Tomasz recommended getting in touch with Antonina Shvets, who is a dedicated leader in local volunteer efforts. At the center she runs, they coordinate assistance for both civilians and military personnel. Tonia turned out to be another energetic, charismatic, and incredibly organized Ukrainian woman. Volunteer work thrives because of women like her. Edyta and Piotr handed over the supplies to representatives of three different brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It was wonderful to watch Tonia telling the soldiers off for being late and then ‘convincing’ the mighty warriors of the Naval Infantry to pose for a group photo. 😀 Thank you for your support with the socks, @NAFO_Sloski , @WarriorAntFella , @dwolosiuk and to all who supported John’s fundraiser. The first batch of thermal socks has been delivered to Ukrainian soldiers in Kherson area 🧦🔥 Troops are now ready to face the cold. Soldiers were so grateful that they even took some special photos just to say "thank you" and to remind us that they haven't forgotten about us either. But that’s not all—our friends at the @RedPoppyCharity also added some shoe insoles to make sure our heroes are fully prepped for the upcoming winter. Beds are now in the Neurology Department, helping Unbroken Charity to continue their mission of providing rehabilitation, medical care and psychological support to wounded soldiers and civilians. We also want to remind you about another meaningful project with Unbroken Charity: Plastic Models for Defenders of Ukraine. Gary Watkins has once again arrived from Scotland, bringing vital humanitarian and medical aid for Ukrainian civilians and soldiers. Dear friends, We want to take a moment to explain our recent absence from social media. After the heartbreaking loss of our friend Lemon, who bravely fought on the frontlines, we needed some time to step back and process everything. The pain of losing such a cherished friend has weighed heavily on our hearts. However, we want to assure you that during this time, we never stopped working hard to support Ukraine. We have continued to deliver humanitarian aid and essential medical equipment to those in need. Now that we are catching up, we will be sharing updates on the work we have been doing. We are starting with photos from a delivery of trench candles made during an event we organized in collaboration with Babusya Galyna UK. These candles were delivered to our friend 'Hornet', who ensured they reached the soldiers on the frontlines. Photos also feature our friend Artur Deska, who sadly passed away last week.
