i hate going out of India because every single time im reminded how easy it is to maintain basic infrastructure like roads and footpaths and we’re robbed of even the simplest of facilities in our so-called tier 1 cities because of our bottom tier politicians

exactly! that was my initial reaction as well but i realized the indian system has only prepared us to view our peers as competition (JEE/NEET literally thrive off this) rather than encouraging us to find meaning in what we do and where we want to end up based on our strengths
