I understand that: They want you murdered. They want to rape your women. They want to trans your children. Your country is being ripped from you. You have no where else to go. The forces of culture, church, government, media, and entertainment have conspired to ruin your people. And that they have done this all with your tithes and taxes. But the reason you have been called to stand before the Session of Elders at Ichabod Presbyterian Church of Southwest Arkansas is because you have opposed them in a way that a 65 year old divorcee in the congregation may find offensive.

Doctrinal disputes being what they are, I wonder if this is what attracts people to baptism. That they are self governed and less prone to the institutional rot. I read Presbyterian theology and think "robust", then I hear them preach. I have the opposite experience with Baptists.

Baptists are every bit as bad. I say this from first hand experience with 3 Baptist churches in 2 states. Second hand testimony from Many more. The rot is the same. No accountability past the local pastor/elders. No means of appeal. Polity structure makes no difference.

Depends on the place I'm sure. Baptists also lend themselves to alot of church splits for the same reason. But if you have yourself a checked in baptist pastor, there is very little outside forces can do about it.
