President Trump is demonstrating that he clearly knows the path to end the Military Conflict with Iran. Here he lays out the winning formula: end the conflict and oil prices will quickly drop. All that’s left for him to him to do is execute—he should do it now, before the midterms. To do so effectively, he must pull our troops & ships out of the region so Iran can’t disrupt his strategy with escalatory strikes that restart the war. The President can emphasize his wins: he ensured Iran won’t get a nuclear weapon via Operation Midnight Hammer & he ended our outdated military basing requirements via the major withdrawals from the region, which is great for American taxpayers, & now we have the bandwidth to refocus on domestic issues, especially our border and the “Donroe Doctrine.” Once our troops and assets are our of harm’s way and Iran doesn’t have the option to strike, negotiate using the carrots of unfreezing assets & sanctions relief to get the oil flowing again. Call Iran a win now, pull our troops out, and don’t let Iran suck you back in.
