Your answer illustrates the scale of the challenge, Frankie, though I’m not sure you realise. That’s a fantasy plan. If it was easy governments, Tory and Lab wd have fixed it.
It’s not as difficult as is being made out either. They’ve had years to prepare better for this type of influx. Detention centres would have been a huge disincentive for illegal crossings. Numbers would have been far fewer given that prospect. They’ve become incentivised.
