.. the analogies symbolically in that movie basically fit Every Scene In It. Egg Shens are 2011-ish; the tunnel monsters are the primordial things that came before all of us and occasionally eat people who join up to walk beside the Egg Shens.

97%-ish minimum by node count (sybils discounted), 99%-ish by hashrate (most was rented, in any event their supporter hashrate is now beejr-coin-worthless due to planned PoW change (they didn't clap hard enough)), 100% by exchanges, ~100% by bitcoin (does 1 XBT matter?)... ehhh

For those people who have some significant value in Bitcoin — consider how regressive they'd have to be to be so completely oblivious to the development of the system their money is in, that they support single-dev segfaulting node software and want to "fire" everyone else.
