I've worked in social media and had a career in broadcasting (and trying to get back) I've been deftly responsible with my social media usage and always had the policy of playing it safe. I despise that radical clips + "hot takes" gets circulation. Sad that it's not the opposite.

I never quite understood why the misinterpretation of Green Arrow was that he should be left wing because he's based on Robin Hood. Robin Hood took from the State. Statists are his enemy. Robin Hood gave back to the salt of the earth. Robin Hood was Republican.

The “socially conscious” bickering between Green Arrow and Green Lantern was almost 60 years ago now. It’s as relevant today as ALL IN THE FAMILY or WATERGATE. It’s no longer the definitive era of GL. Geoff’s version is. There is definitely room for some racial tension in the comic, but John Stewart’s childhood doesn’t take place in 1962 anymore. It’s been moved to 1996. People are sick of the identity politics and victimhood.
