Actually the whole "AI is dangerous" thing is inspiring. Why only disagree when we can actually ask ourself the question - is the product we're making dangerous enough?
@ludogranger and I had a lunch today and we decided to spice things up a bit. We're cooking something new.
I was terribly wrong, and now I know why. I was persuaded that people aren’t going to prefer a chat interface to a graphic UI because the cognitive change of chatting is greater than that of clicking. But everybody will prefer to chat with something smart over clicking on something dumb. Until clickable becomes smart, chat will be the user-interaction entry point.
Result after 2 months of self-improving loops over @LeadbayAI MCP: a user says “I’ve tested others and was not happy. Leadbay was the easiest to set up automated prospecting with. We got 3 clients in the first week. It just delivers.”
Unexpected turn: our most successful users are now on @ChatGPT and not on Claude.
Average users are not yet living the “and then my agent did <something I did not ask for and did not know it was capable of>,” but power users are. This gap is a multi-trillion-dollar market. That no one yet knows how to grab it does not make it any less of a market.
I have always perceived the danger of involving professional politicians and the legal system in technology as outweighing the danger of any technology per se.
When you don’t feel stimulated enough in your environment, you can create a new one. @TheErikDahl and I started Self-Improving Software Workshops.
120+ brilliant people (not only guys! shoutout to @anna_y_zhang@peggy_wang) experimenting at the forefront of our field. Pure joy.

Huge respect on your viral thread and brining those topics to the surface!!
My experience: Divorce, when it happened, was the best thing that ever happened to me (I only got into @ycombinator after).
My research on people who stayed with the same person in a happy long relationship (note _happy_ as non negotiable) - the key seems to be: they were not the same people though it all, both had been open to welcome the change of the other and be curious rather than having expectations.
I wish I had read All About Love by bell hooks before. Still this would not have prevented my divorce, but it would have informed me on what was going on.
There’s no such thing as a wrong person but there can we a wrong relational dynamics - no love - no growth. There is a general crisis of love and of social tissue that used to support healthy relationships that is now dysfunctional.
I used to note down ideas so I’d remember them. Now I find it better not to, because if an idea is actually useful, it will come to me again.
I still write a lot, but for the pleasure of writing. After all, pleasure is the birthplace of insight.
The best way to get my attention is to get curious about me. I have thousands of LinkedIn friend requests unanswered, thousands of unread email and yet I immediately respond to a person who's been on my website and researched me.
The reason why Leadbay makes a difference in our client's agentic prospecting workflows is that our agents really get curious about companies. They go deep.
We're SO BACK ! @LeadbayAI@milstan San Francisco.
Fired a few people, hiring new ones, cut fishy deals, made bigger ones. 24/7. And excited about every day we live and build together.
