I ended up taking this 4k offer on a ,com in the end based on a few things:
- I have lost a bunch of negotiations in the last few months by rejecting and holding for 8-10k (for my quality of names it seems tough to get above 5k)
- they started at 700 and have increased a fair amount to 4k - it’s net and they pay broker fees
- based in research there’s only really one clear end user, and they’re not large / have fairly low value sale values
- the name was bought in the last 12 months for $140

Congrats, James! 🎉 Smart decision to take a satisfactory offer, especially with such an excellent ROI in less than a year and the buyer covering all fees. Sales like these pay for renewals and hopefully leave a little extra for a well-deserved celebration! 🥂
Thanks for sharing your thought process. Insights like these benefit the entire domain community!

🇩🇪 This is BERLIN, and the scenes are stirring up the same old question:
WHAT is happening to Europe's IDENTITY?
Palestinian flags fill the streets, crowds chant into the night.
For some Germans, scenes like this make them reconsider questions about integration, national identity and what their capital is becoming.
Can a city accommodate different identities without losing a shared sense of belonging?

At any point in time GoDaddy For Sale Landers have dozens of experiments running on them (they start with a small portion of Namefind traffic and successful variations expand from there). Lately we have been testing some different UX designs as some noticed in other threads last month. The first few rounds didn't do better than our current landers so we are on to the next batch. Love seeing the latest variations we're testing today. If you have ideas for designs we should test let us know.

Interesting insights, Alan! Great to see GoDaddy continuously experimenting with its sales landers.
One feature worth testing is short, descriptive taglines. CamelCase improves readability, while taglines help buyers envision a domain’s potential. Other platforms already offer this. I’d love to see GoDaddy/Afternic explore it!

Hello Türkiye! 🇹🇷 Just sold HelloTurkiye․com for $5,000!
Anyone here from Türkiye? Say hello in the comments! 👋
My domain sales have now passed $200,000 this year, already beating last year’s total! With more than two months left, I’m hoping to reach $300,000 and set a new personal record. 🤞
This month also came with a surprise. I received a $100,000 offer for a US geo .com domain and accepted it. But the buyer suddenly backed out, then came back with a new offer of just $40,000.
From $100K to $40K after I’d already said yes? That was an easy no. 🙂
You win some, you lose some. Still happy to celebrate this $5K sale!
