Reason why initial conflict in main story was so compelling is that tsukasa's upset was rational and rooted in his work ethic but the way he handled it was extremely emotional and disregarding of human factor. He screams at a resourceful colleague that goes through panic attack

I think in that moment rui got really mad that his tongue turned really sharp (typical rui) but tsukasa didn't really mind rui said that to him (not like me lol) and actually changed for the better so honestly it was fair I guess
