#3.2forRITNA 🏃🏾‍♂️ Hello everyone, and good morning. I trust we’re all doing great. As we continue the roadmap to the launch of Rumbles in the New Academy, my team and I have come up with a challenge we named *#3.2forRITNA*. 3.2 km is probably the most familiar running distance in the Nigerian military. And for many of us, it carries a great number of indelible memories. From the selection board. Crossing junctions. Serving puttee. Exercises. Competitions and so on. So here is the challenge: Run 3.2 km. Record it. Tell us an unforgettable story associated with 3.2 km or your basic military training, and share it with the hashtag #3.2forRITNA. You do not have to record the entire run. 😅 You could also simply share evidence of completing a 3.2 km run with #3.2forRITNA, especially if you would rather spare us the sight of you gasping for breath. And your story does not necessarily have to be about a 3.2 km run. It could be any memorable, funny, embarrassing or unforgettable experience from your basic military training. Not in the military? No problem! Let’s see you do the 3.2km run better. #3.2forRITNA What’s in it for you? The entry with the highest engagement across any social media platform will win a boxed, signed copy of Rumbles in the New Academy by the author. So, Can we start running already? #3.2forRITNA #RumblesInTheNewAcademy #RITNA

He did his tour. He came home. He thought it was over. Then the Army said “not so fast.” Stop-Loss (2008) is the gut-punch story of a soldier who fought for his country and then had to fight his country to stay free. Ryan Phillippe’s best performance and nobody talks about it. 🎬📺Stop-loss(2008)❤️🔥⭐⭐⭐

This is quite painful to see 💔. I told you back then that you were at Seme border. You can't be nonchalant in your final year. You got carried away too early and you didn't lock in enough at the finish line. Delayed gratification is key here and setting priorities right. This is another lesson for people who want to be nonchalant with seeking a first class. Nobody with a first class is nonchalant or gets carried away. I hope you will learn from your mistakes. But still, 4.47 in Civil Engineering is an excellent result. Keep your head up and congratulations on your degree.

For everyone applying to Mastercard Foundation Scholarships, here are non-negotiables I put together, for your essays: 1. Never fabricate. 2. Never exaggerate. 3. Never manufacture hardship. 4. Never turn yourself into a victim. 5. Never use generic inspirational language unnecessarily. 6. Never confuse participation with leadership. 7. Never confuse ambition with impact. 8. Never simply repeat your CV. 9. Never force Mastercard Foundation keywords into the essay. 10. Never write an essay before understanding yourself. 11. Never ignore the exact institution-specific prompt. 12. Never sacrifice authenticity for sophistication. 13. Never make every sentence sound artificially polished. 14. Preserve your natural voice while improving clarity. 15. Every major claim should have evidence. 16. Every experience should produce reflection. 17. Every academic goal should connect to a real problem. 18. Every future ambition should be credible. 19. The scholarship should enable your mission, not become the mission.
