Ni-ki’s mom💓: When Riki was in third grade of elementary school, he used to go to Tokyo alone on the bullet train (Shinkansen).
💓: At that time, we gave him quite a lot of money because otherwise, we were afraid he might run out of it.
💓: PayPay didn’t exist back then, so we loaded a good amount onto his ICOCA card and gave him some cash.
💓: I told him to manage his spending well, and it seems like he did most of the time.
💓: But apparently, he used the money he had left on his ICOCA card to buy snacks for Ta-tan (Misora, his younger sister).
🗣️: How sweet.
💓: Yes. I found out about that later. When I asked him if he had saved the remaining money for the next time he traveled on the Shinkansen, he told me:
🐥: "I’m sorry, Mom. I already spent it all."
💓: At that moment, I got angry and said:
💓: "What!? Why did you spend it all?" But later, Ta-tan told me, "Nii-ni (Riki) bought me snacks."
💓: I was like, "Huh!?" And I thought it was such a sweet and considerate gesture on his part.
Reading this adorable fight between older sister and younger brother between Konon and Ni-ki, something completely normal in any sibling relationship 😭. Who doesn’t act like this with their siblings? JJSJS. Personally, I’m the same with my younger brother.
But what I’m getting at is that Ni-ki is a magnificent and spectacular brother, a great guy who unconditionally takes care of his family and is always ready and willing to give everything for them, without limits or conditions. He is always honoring, loving, and valuing his family; even in the smallest gestures and details, he always carries them with him and is so attentive to them. I will never get tired of saying that his family has the best son and brother of all. ☹️🥹💓🫳
