Fire crews are responding to a small wildfire northwest of Boulder near N. Foothills and Longhorn Rd. The fire is slow growing and firefighters feel like they have handle on the fire. No need to call 911 for this fire.

Smoke from a wildfire in Larimer County near Pinewood Springs may be seen in Boulder County in the Lyons area. At this time, we have no impacts (evacuations, road closures, etc.) in Boulder County, if that changes, we will let you know.

#Boulder Fire specifying this is NOT a wildfire, but a non structure fire. Reading between the lines, might be an electric/transformer fire. There are outages in the area
Boulder Fire-Rescue is currently in the area of Kohler Reservoir for the report of smoke. A small fire has been identified, crews have surrounded the source.
We are aware of electric outages throughout Boulder at this time. Use caution through intersections.
Crews continue to investigate the area and more information will be provided when we have it.
