In Uganda, there is freedom of religion. As long as you are worshipping the Creator, Almighty God. The only religion that is COMPLETELY banned in Uganda is Satanism. The worship of the devil. For that you will surely go to jail for a long time.

Satanism begins when pastors pretend to serve God while exploiting people for money. Churches that use religion to deceive and financially exploit the poor should be held accountable and, where necessary, shut down in Uganda. Faith should bring hope and salvation, not become a business built on the suffering of the vulnerable. My appeal to you @mkainerugaba

I worship my ancestors, whom religious mental enslavers have spent generations demonising as Satan. My religion is African Traditional Religion, and I am unapologetically African. I have no business being forced to worship a whitewashed Jesus while my own ancestral spirituality is treated as evil. Freedom of religion means freedom for ALL beliefs, not just Christianity and Islam. Who gave anyone the authority to decide whose God is legitimate?

I believe in Freedom of Worship and Religion. However the misuse and misrepresentation of religion is something all of us need to question. History tells us that many people have used religion to manipulate masses, cause conflicts and usurp peoples rights.
