declippers are a good way!

New Linear phase SUB Ducking, SYNC Mode, GLOBAL Ducking Amount, RM Inflation/Deflation, RM Stereo Linking, Envelope FADE-IN Adjuster & Lots of polishing🐍🥳
method to generate a bunch of drum breaks!
it's quite easy tbh
but breaks being complex material, it usually require more work afterward
which is what i did for this month free pack!
as far as sidechain should just be done the way a specific needs it to be done, initial m4l borrasca sidechainer always was a really goated device and streamlined the process a lot.
This opens it to everyone (not just ableton people) and slaps a really damn good ux on top of it!
SERPENT BETA 1 w/ @borraxca finally dropped FREE for everyone! 🐍🥳
All-in-one sample-accurate volume, ringmod and sub ducking with lookahead and accurate transient detection!✨
how to turn a sine into a complex wavetable!
it's nothing complicated but you just gotta pay attention to phase
if you do you'll get really gloopy sounds!
rave stabs dont have to be old school
lil tutorial on how to make weird ones from sampling!
not that different from how it used to be made but more recent tools offers for different results
take a sound
duplicate it 64x time
offset something for each of those duplicates
applicable to pitch, filters, rm, fm.... anything really!
here's a bit of that with phase plant
how 2 make weird riddim claps:
- typical clap
- filter it more than usual
- render fuck ton of variations
- layer together randomly a ton of those
if you start with really simple and stupid sounds you can end up with really cool complex ones at the end!
anything can work tbh
In our third set of seven questions about seven areas of sound design, we hit up wavetable wizard and Phase Plant Power User, mleuc, to discuss making wavetables that are truly useful.

and hopefully I'll release more of it more consistently at some point.
This ever-growing list I have of sound design ideas to mess with and software to learn is also pretty time-consuming... but I love it!
