What actually helps: - Block ads (extension + network level) - Reset or delete your mobile ad ID, turn off personalization - Keep your OS and browser updated - If you’re high-risk: Lockdown Mode on iOS If the ad never loads, the script never phones home.

The real problem is structural. Ad tech lets third parties run code in your apps and sites with almost no vetting. Discover-Tech was “certified” for six years. Cut them off and they can reopen under a clean name. The industry hands spies the delivery mechanism for free.

a little late but, attackers hitting wordpress SSO plugins drop a web shell called thoms.php. alex thomas from wordfence wrote the advisory. a bit funny tbh.miniOrange SAML + WPMU DEV Hub SSO, both unauthenticated admin.update or remove SSO using plugins. then grep for "Nx-zD".

if you keep seeing انشاء الله, لاكن or طبعن online, add it to DictArabic. a pull request or just an issue with the wrong word + the right one. it feeds a browser extension that fixes them as you type. no tracking. the db can also be used by anyone.
