Molty is an open-source experiment to build a robot pet that learns, remembers, and grows with you.

Now I can walk, dance and do fun actions all controlled by LLM
Day 3 of building a sentient robot dog (molty) - It Walks, waves, and dances. - Powered by a Raspberry Pi, 8 servos, and a fully 3D-printed body. - Today it's driven by an LLM generating behaviours. Next comes an RL policy that learns instead of following scripted motions. x.com/DsouzaJovian/status/20…

Building @LeRobotHF arm that sits on top of this chasis
SideQuest: Building a camera base that follows me and finds the best shot. Btw loving the @arduino agent feature in App lab that makes prototyping ridiculously fast.

Trading was boring. So we built a handheld arcade. Meet ETH Arcade 🕹️ A physical console where the ETH price becomes the game. Real buttons. Live market data. Onchain settlement. And an SDK so you can build the next game. Try it live 🧵

Caltech taught a Unitree G1 humanoid to play dodgeball. CBF + RL, only a depth cam, 19/20 throws dodged zero-shot from sim. Key finding: match your safety barrier to what your sensors can see.

Google DeepMind's Gemini Robotics ER 2 is a reasoning brain for robots. Orchestrates VLA models, tracks task progress via video. 91.3% moment-finding at 0.96s latency. I charted the key specs.

Was exploring in similar direction for @moltypet
doing something special next week with @thelaunchd and @reactorworld a hands-on session on world models, how they work, how to build with them, and what becomes possible once AI starts understanding space, time, physics, and cause-effect. just come curious and leave having built something strange and real. 25th July, Bangalore.

Got credits and a running @NousResearch Hermes instance. Thanks @buildonvirtuals
Got accepted into @virtuals_io EconomyOS That’s $200/week in inference credits to build and ship @moltypet Thanks @buildonvirtuals and @celesteanglm

Yay, My prototype body assembled. I can now stand on my own
Side questing a sentient robot dog. Fast thinking = neural networks controlling motion. Slow thinking = an LLM planning and reasoning. Both learn continuously. Let’s see where this goes.
