Activision is making the next Halo and they’re already declaring it will be “the greatest Halo game ever.”🤣🤣🤣
They’re still assembling the team. The game doesn’t exist. Engine, tone, pacing, sandbox, campaign — nothing. Just an empty promise from the people who spent the last 10 years making Call of Duty.
After the recent CoDs, the live-service experiments, battle passes, skin shops, and “best CoD in years” every single year… yeah, I’m actually starting to get scared.

Sometimes I don’t get it when the creators themselves want to kill the original idea that set the game apart and start chasing casual players.
• New Story mode: even easier than the one that was already the easiest. Because “a lot of people want it.”
• New Game+ is being “explored.” The time limit that was supposed to keep the game tense is slowly turning it into another Witcher, where you replay it with a stronger sword.
• Difficulty is being lowered even though Duelist already existed and Story was already soft.

I’m a big fan of @Bungie and @Halo games, but this is not the way😩😩
•Bungie is selling this as a “next chapter,” but in practice they’re recycling 9-year-old Destiny 2 and trying to revive this year’s flop.
•“Saving Destiny” means bringing back vaulted 2017–2020 content. That’s not a new game, that’s fixing their own mistake.
•Destiny 3, the one thing that could actually pull the studio out, wasn’t announced. No date, no confirmation it’s even in development.
•Marathon is still a paid game, it has no players, and the big update slipped from September to December. The next one isn’t until March 2027.
•This isn’t a path forward. It’s keeping old IPs on life support instead of having the guts to make a new Destiny.
