Building @getStabledesk — stablecoin measurement for Arc, Circle's L1. Zero dependencies, method published. github.com/moreno-g

This morning my dashboard showed @arc's USDC supply shrinking. Half true. On 17 Sept it fell 9.5M, but 17.85M had just crossed to other chains via CCTP: burned on Arc, minted elsewhere. Outside CCTP, it grew. So today @getStabledesk learned to tell a bridge from a redemption.

Arc's USDC supply fell 9.5M on 17 Sept, its first full day after launch. Outside CCTP, it grew 2.77M. The drop is bridging: 17.85M left through @circle CCTP, 5.56M arrived. Top destination: @0xPolygon (8.1M), then @ethereum (6.5M) and @base (1.9M).

Three contracts borrowed the USDC name on @arc this week. 2 trillion supply on one, 8 decimals on another, one labelled Mock. None are Circle's. Match on contract address, never on symbol. Arc testnet. stabledesk.xyz

Our TVL scan read the top 600 contracts every pass. There are 2,194. The same 1,594 were missing every time — a blind spot, not a sample. Now the scan rotates: full coverage every ~35 min, and the API publishes how stale the oldest reading is. Arc testnet. Method: stabledesk.xyz/methodology

I applied for a Circle grant this week. The form asks for traction: transaction volume, MAU, growth. I could pad this box. Instead I wrote: "The thesis of this application is that Stabledesk does not inflate numbers, so here is exactly what exists and what does not."
