video made by yours truly 🤩 turn any app into an environment! im aboutta put this to use on some mini games 🫪
Building good RL environments is hard. We're introducing a way to turn anything into RL-environments with REA using the open source AgentEnv framework from @ScaleAILabs Any site, app, or game can now easily be turned into an env 😉

lots of ai & data labs are already using REA to help scale and build better environments for their models so we made it even easier with rea environments! a huge thank you to the @earakely and the @scale_AI team for all the help

It works! @bot added my B-hyve XD HT31 Bluetooth watering system to Apple HomeKit using @brutella ‘s hap. I showed it @morluto ‘s rea, it reversed the official Orbit app, wrote a key requester using my account details and the official API, and now happily runs the Go app on my Raspberry Pi.

AI doesn't replace you. It amplifies you. Over lunch, I discussed with my professor: know the fundamentals and where you're going, and AI multiplies you. If not, it makes you dependent. So what matters most now is agency. I don't think I'm smart. I’m just willing to spend the time and turn ideas into things. This week that meant using REA to take apart GuitarTuna and learn what's under the hood. More on what I built soon. 🎸 Best time ever to learn by building. Agency is all u need.

so what will you build?
I don't think people realize the movement happening with "Reverse Engineer Anything," which just crossed 300k GitHub stars. It's not about "oh, let's make an open source Photoshop" or "the death of software." It's about unlocking human creativity. It's about what this UNBLOCKS in our brains, what new building blocks we have, and the big question: WHAT WILL YOU BUILD?! cc @reatools @morluto

Today's YouTube video is about REA: Reverse Engineer Anything! In this video, I break down how REA works, and then actually use it to reverse engineer a video recording app to help improve the custom recording app I am building Thanks again to @morluto , @reatools , and the community for all the great work!

incredible tech
I was tired of how laggy and slow my Samsung TV was… so /reverse-engineer-anything went brrrrrrrrttt on Tizen. A clean launcher and home screen with no autoplay random free tv channels. @morluto created a monster.

Note that you have to really guide Claude here, it will say it’s not feasible. Astra plus REA was able to sleuth through the Tizen Home and launcher app and find a path.

i think zuck is very much correct the proof to Navier-Stokes doesn't mean much to most, we were already applying NS in applications around us we are not born knowledge workers we are tinkerers, artists, and explorers at heart hackers & painters
if i was to work for any lab it would be meta. as much as i love claude models, how autonomous grokbot is and the reliability of codex, its clear the world is heading towards agents working in the background as we get to spend more time doing what we love. community building and entertainment will be huge (it already is). creator economy is about to roadster flip over everything. meta distribution via instagram and partnering up with apple means they’re going to own a major % of the consumer end. mark zuckerberg recently said something in the recent cheeky pint podcast that really stuck with me. "the highest use of super intelligence is invention and creation, not automation". the more i use agents the more im realising this myself. more time to connect with loved ones, more time to work on passion projects and more time to solve harder problems. no one cares how much faster you’re flying through excel spreadsheets. or how much money you’re making. its really time to have fun. you need to dream bigger. thats all i’ve ever wanted to do and if progress in si stops here i would still be fully content with life. and the crazy thing is i haven’t even tried muse yet (im from uk/eu and they’re setting us back 100 years right now🥲). but i love how meta trained the model to work for personal use case in mind and this aligns with my philosophy: “more human, by design”. i see where this all heading so much clearer now. personal super intelligence. i dont even like saying its bigger than the internet anymore because thats obvious. truly once in a civilisation moment like alexandr said.

"OpenAI solved Navier-Stokes. Math is solved!" "No it's not. do you even know what Navier-Stokes is?" "No, Do you?" "No"
