He saw a running semi and thought he had found the perfect getaway. The truck driver quietly made sure it became the worst one. Police in Mount Vernon, Illinois were called to a gas station after reports of a man moving through the parking lot trying vehicle doors. When an officer approached the 46-year-old man, police say he refused commands, struggled with the officer and ran across the icy lot. One vehicle was locked. Then he spotted something much bigger: An unlocked semi-truck sitting there running. He climbed into the cab and went for the driver's seat. That should have been his escape. Except the actual driver knew exactly what to do. The trucker disconnected the trailer's air lines, setting the trailer brakes and making sure that rig was not going anywhere. No dramatic chase. No heroic speech. Just a truck driver who apparently looked at the situation and decided: Not my semi. Officers reached the cab, removed the man from the driver’s seat and took him into custody after he continued resisting on the pavement. Investigators also said the man had attempted to take another occupied vehicle before officers arrived. The strangest part? His own vehicle had reportedly broken down nearby. He was arrested and charged with attempted vehicular hijacking, two counts of attempted vehicle theft, two counts of aggravated battery to a peace officer, and criminal damage to property. He went looking for a getaway vehicle. He chose one driven by a man who knew exactly how to make 80,000 pounds say no.
The government released this file three days ago. And somehow the strangest part isn’t that federal agents saw something they couldn’t identify. It’s what the thing DIDN’T do. Newly declassified records released October 23 describe a bizarre June 2026 encounter near a sensitive national-security site in the western United States. Two federal special agents were positioned at an observation post when another official alerted them to something unusual over a mountain ridge. They looked. A matte-black triangle was hanging in the sky. Roughly 13–15 feet across. No visible engine. No exhaust. No obvious propulsion. And absolutely no sound. The agents watched the object rise vertically hundreds of feet above the ridge and remain suspended there. Then it moved. They described it accelerating with speed comparable to a fighter jet before banking and descending into a canyon. Still silent. One witness observed it through thermal equipment, but reported no distinct heat source where an engine or conventional propulsion system would normally be expected. Investigators searched the area afterward. No wreckage. No debris. No obvious impact site. And this wasn’t dismissed as somebody simply seeing a strange light in the distance. AARO documented the encounter and determined it warranted further investigation because characteristics of the object reportedly resembled other unexplained incidents from the western United States. The identities of the witnesses, exact location and portions of the timeline remain redacted. The government has not said it was extraterrestrial. It also hasn’t publicly explained what it was. Some mysteries become less interesting when the files are finally opened. This one somehow got stranger. (AI concept illustration based on the declassified reports.)

🚨 BREAKING EXCLUSIVE FOOTAGE: EIGHT-YEAR-OLD ADRIAN THOMPSON’S FINAL MOMENTS - DEVASTATING NEWLY RELEASED WITNESS STATEMENTS Please be advised that the footage is extremely distressing to watch. I ask everyone who watches or discusses it to remember that this was a child whose family continues to grieve an unimaginable SENSELESS loss. I will be transparent and say that NOTHING about this investigation has ever sat right with me. I have spent considerable time investigating the tragic death of eight-year-old Adrian Thompson, who died following a choking incident at Velma Penny Elementary School in Lindale, Texas, on April 15, 2026. I previously reported on the Texas Rangers’ investigative findings, including significant concerns surrounding the school’s emergency response, the DELAY in choking intervention, and the use of ADULT-sized LifeVac masks. But now, after reviewing the newly released surveillance footage, I am even more disturbed by what happened that day. I warn you, the absolute lack of urgency during those critical moments is both heartbreaking and infuriating. You will see an eight-year-old little girl visibly struggle, desperately attempting to communicate that something is wrong. According to the Rangers’ timeline, Adrian began exhibiting visible signs of choking at approximately 1140 am. She was grabbing at her throat, attempting to clear her mouth, and showing signs of distress. She was subsequently directed toward a trash can by school employee Chelsea Wiggins, who stated that she initially believed Adrian was going to vomit. Rather than immediately receiving documented choking intervention, back blows, or any apparent attempt to address a potential airway obstruction, Adrian was asked whether she needed to use the restroom. Adrian eventually left the cafeteria and ran toward the nurse’s office, alone. It is also worth noting that Chelsea Wiggins remains employed by Lindale ISD. A separate eyewitness statement I obtained describes Adrian panicking and communicating her need for help through her body movements. That witness wrote: “The teacher only walked her out the cafeteria but didn’t walk with her to the nurse. The little girl ran by her self to the nurses office.” Other employee statements describe an adult following Adrian toward the nurse. However, none of these accounts eliminates the serious questions surrounding the response during those initial moments. Nearly two minutes had passed between Adrian’s first visible signs of distress and her arrival at the nurse’s office, according to the Rangers’ timeline. The nurse’s own documentation indicates that she began the Heimlich maneuver after Adrian started turning blue. Documentation also states that 911 was not called from the nurse’s station, but from a separate office instructed BY the nurse’s station. Side note of information: After researching the nurse’s license, public records show that Lindale ISD is the only school she has been employed by from 1998 until present. Adrian subsequently collapsed after the Heimlich failed. Efforts to resuscitate her were unsuccessful. I am deeply troubled by the apparent failure to recognize the severity of this emergency sooner. As a mother, watching this footage is extremely difficult. As an independent journalist, I believe it raises questions that deserve answers. I also previously reported that the two LifeVac devices examined by the Texas Rangers had ADULT masks attached, despite Adrian being only eight years old. I am releasing this footage in the interest of public awareness and accountability, not to sensationalize Adrian’s death or exploit her family’s unimaginable loss. It has been shared with PERMISSION from the family. Parents deserve to know that the schools entrusted with their children’s safety are adequately prepared to respond when SECONDS matter. Staff statements will be shared in the thread.

They are traveling in 2 cars, the uhaul and a suv. Why keeping the dogs in the uhaul with the FL heat instead of having them in the other car with A/C? Definitely. Animal abuse, great outcome

Some people have absolutely zero boundaries, and the woman in this story is a shining example of that fact. This was one of the most frustrating yet delicious interactions i've ever had with an entitled Karen.

The death care industry attracts some of the worst scammers imaginable. Taking advantage of people grieving is vile, and the folks in our stories today are absolute GHOULS. I don't believe in ghosts but i SOOO hope these mf's get haunted.

I'm very conflicted here. Ms Krueger has let the smallest amount of power a person can have, go straight to her head, then calls over a female cop that is equally snotty. on the other hand, auditors are turds and this guy's self righteousness is annoying.

An unattended death is any death that doesn't happen in the presence of another or under medical supervision. Typically they are not found for days, weeks or even months. This is the story of my first unattended death, and the first call that really touched me personally. The decedent was a woman in her 40s who was a complete hermit/shut-in who drank herself to death. She worked from home, and had alcohol delivered to her almost daily. When i first entered the bedroom where she began dying, there was a MOUNTAIN of paper bags and empty bottles next to her bed. It was higher than the bed and had to be at least 100 wine and vodka bottles. I think what got to me was the fact that it could have very easily been me.

The first psychopath I ever met was an airbnb landlord. She had already called an exterminator and a handyman and neither of them could find the source of the "death smell" that permeated her property. As a biohazard remediation tech, I dealt with more than just crime scenes. Really anything that could be considered a biohazard: human waste, dead animals, discarded used tampons (way more often than one would think)... every now and then i would get a call for something like this, but i was NOT prepared for what i found...

Islamist terrorists carried out a horrific massacre against Jordan’s Christian community today in Karak, south of Amman. The three attackers opened fire during a funeral at St. George Orthodox Church, killing seven people and wounding dozens in an atrocity that sent shockwaves through Christian communities across the Middle East. King Abdullah II vowed to confront those seeking to destabilize Jordan and threaten its centuries-old Christian presence. Jordanians from across the political spectrum have rallied behind his commitment to combating ISIS-inspired Islamist terrorism. Public outrage intensified after CCTV footage of the attack circulated online, revealing the cold-blooded targeting of defenseless civilians gathered to mourn a loved one. What is particularly revealing is that some of the same people condemning today’s massacre of Jordanian Christians celebrated or excused Hamas’s equally brutal murder of Israeli civilians on October 7. It is remarkable how readily some affirm the sanctity of innocent civilian life in one context and correctly denounce its killing as terrorism, yet deny that same humanity in another and rebrand the murder of civilians as “resistance.”
