Yeah. This was his best balance of maturity and music.
That’s what’s so confusing to me about the criticism. He’s not too lyrical/technical on this album, his flows are peak, he’s not doing fast Chopper flows on each song, the songs are sounding great musically similar to TES, the production is amazing. This is his best work.

Absolutely not. Being a lyricist ≠ being a great rapper. 50’s one of the greatest song writers in Hip Hop history. Heavy D wasn’t a lyricist he was a great rapper. Endless examples of this principle. Most great lyricist don’t make enjoyable music. It’s not a 1:1 conversation.
I see people tryna discredit what Maino said about 50, simply because it was Maino who said it—but If we are to be honest, 50 Cent and Maino are on the same level lyrically.

I do agree with that. But don’t u HAVE to be in the house with your parents? Parents don’t clean the house on Weekends and play old music anymore? Too busy twerking and playing Call of Duty I suppose.
...and that is my point. back then you did not have to intentionally introduce a kid to older music. It was part of our daily. Now kids do not have to listen to older music unless it is on purpose

My kid iZ 6. She knows New Edition, The Whispers, Strafe, The Fat Boys. She knows this because I listen to it and play it. So I don’t see what the different time things about.
I see ur point, but also, we are in different times. We had to listen to what our parents listened to in the car. Developed our taste for classic music. Kids today dont have to ever listen to parents music. They never develop their taste

Absolute Fact. Most annoying creatures to interact with on earth. Just… basic. Empty and Robotic. Easy to manipulate as well. And once they are that way it’s impossible to coach them up.
Girls who overly brag about their education are extremely annoying and 90% of the time they’re very limited in critical thinking beyond the scope of what they learned in school

Yeah I’m blown away by how little younger people know about pretty much anything. Theres a scary future coming our way. They’re just… blank and hollow.
Not this person specifically but I've noticed this is the problem with a lot of young people of today. They don't care about the history of anything and aren't naturally curious at all lmao
