Any idea why it is so hard for Alec to say anything good about JJ McCarthy without putting a “but” on the end?
I am guessing it’s because he’s afraid he’s going to be wrong on his prediction of Kyler being the starting quarterback.
The Vikings just ended their night practice. Not a banner evening for the offense. Kyler Murray threw two INTs in 11-on-11. Interior pressure seemed to be a problem. J.J. McCarthy had some good moments early and late (especially on corner routes) but a bunch of misfires, too.

I really don’t understand why KOC doesn’t stop playing this game and just name JJ McCarthy as qb 1 already so he can get more reps in practice before the opener.
