I mean I needed two arrays. Instead of creating two different arrays, I created one array with two different names. Now with two different variables using the same array my code treated it as if it were two different arrays.

I had a function that needed to use two large memory arrays. Instead of allocating two large memory arrays and using them I allocated one large memory and pointed both array variables at the same allocated memory.
