If @TIME is wavering over who to name Person of the Year, may I suggest Gisele Pelicot? Her bravery and resolve are exemplary, and every last one of her rapists deserves to rot in prison until death. I hope she can find some semblance of peace, however small, when the trial ends.

This happened on a recent IndiGo flight. Stewardess found a bag under a seat. She asked around and no one claimed it. She then proceeded to circulate the bag throughout the cabin asking if it belonged to anyone. When my husband protested they were amused.

Are there no guidelines? We were aghast. It was finally claimed by someone but if it was left there for any other purpose, the crew did their best to add to the poor outcome.
