We are revising our developer API policies:
We will no longer allow apps that reward users for posting on X (aka “infofi”). This has led to a tremendous amount of AI slop & reply spam on the platform.
We have revoked API access from these apps, so your X experience should start improving soon (once the bots realize they’re not getting paid anymore).
If your developer account was terminated, please reach out and we will assist in transitioning your business to Threads and Bluesky.

gm y’all.
with the new year underway, i wanted to share an update on what’s coming up at opensea. we’ve been heads-down building, testing, and refining, and there’s a lot cooking.
we’ve been battle testing our newest products.
behind the scenes we’ve been spending a ton of time with active traders and collectors, getting their feedback to help shape os mobile and hyperliquid perps. we can’t wait to get these into your hands. all of your assets, all of your positions, all of your wallets, all of your chains, all in one place, all in your pocket.
btw if you’re interested in helping us test - drop a note below!
you should connect and link your wallets on opensea.
first, this will enable a magical experience with os mobile, where you’ll be able to manage your entire combined portfolio. second, with TGE on the horizon, it will give the Foundation a holistic view of your onchain history, and connect current activity to otherwise dormant wallets.
preparation for the foundation’s TGE is well underway.
lots happening on this front. everyone is rallying to get it right. a reminder that historical volume will be meaningfully considered by the Foundation, as will Treasures from our rewards program, which will continue through TGE - with half of our fees going into the prize pool each wave.
thank you for your feedback and support.
onward and upward.

~Story time~
Once upon a time there was a fantasy sports related project that launched on Base.
They misnamed their sport (called soccer football for some bewildering reason).
I decided not to play it because I was boycotting the name (and had PTSD from another fantasy-sports related project that might never TGE).
Then they added real football.
Then they expanded the entire thing to sports(dot)fun instead of just football(dot)fun.
Then they demonstrated PMF in the crypto <> fantasy sports realm.
Then it became a clear double-farm (for FUN and BASE).
Then they got a Coinbase listing for their upcoming TGE.
Costly mistake to fade and stand on silly principles when I first heard about it 😂
...but there's still time to farm FUN score until TGE

The person with the titanium chest who got the pudgy will be stoked
there were 62 grand prizes distributed via Wave 1 Treasure Chests, valued at more than 2.1 million dollars.
these grand prizes could be discovered by anyone, but were much more likely to be found in higher level chests.
one of these prizes was found by someone in a Steel (level 7) chest.
33 of 62 were found in Solar (level 34-36) chests.
grand prize claims do require a direct connection with our team for verification. 61/62 who discovered one have reached out and begun this process. 43/62 prizes have already been delivered. if any remain unclaimed, they will be added to the Wave 2 rewards pool.
