Alpenglow is officially running on testnet ⛰️ The handoff completed at slot 444625255: Alpenglow genesis block formed and TowerBFT is retired.  Testnet now finalizes with Votor and votes have entirely moved off-chain. Devnet is next. Mainnet-beta after our observation period.

Fixed Rate Multiply launches with AUTO/wYLDS Multiply, in collaboration with @Figure and @HastraFi. Kamino Fixed Rates is launching with AUTO Multiply, with yield generated through Figure’s auto loan infrastructure. The strategy is powered by a new fixed-rate wYLDS reserve added directly to the existing AUTO market, enabling up to 20% net APY through AUTO/wYLDS Multiply. AUTO is Hastra’s yield-bearing token backed by Figure’s tokenized auto loans. Entry and exit have zero price impact, with mint and redeem plugged directly into Figure’s systems. Here’s how it works: A user goes to the Multiply vault with AUTO, selects their deposit amount and leverage, and opens the position. Once executed, the user has a 30-day Fixed Rate Multiply position, with the borrowing cost fixed for the duration of the term. Auto-rollover is enabled by default, automatically starting a new 30-day term if liquidity is available. This allows the Multiply position to remain active across consecutive fixed-rate terms without requiring the user to manually repay, close, and reopen the position. When we started @Bastion, we believed stablecoins would become core financial infrastructure. But for the world’s largest enterprises and financial institutions to adopt them, that infrastructure would need to meet the regulatory standards they already expect from their banks. That meant building compliance, controls and governance into Bastion from the beginning, not adding them after the fact or waiting for others to pave the way. Today, the OCC granted Bastion preliminary conditional approval for a national trust bank charter, placing us among a small group of companies to reach this stage with the OCC. That matters because the bar should be high. Stablecoins are becoming part of the financial system, and the infrastructure powering them needs to be built for the regulatory and operational standards that come with that.
