If it’s not extra taxes it’s compulsion and hefty fines! They don’t seem to be bothered by the doubling of PIP benefits beyond stratospheric amounts or stopping the boats or paying out more in benefits than they collect in tax, or leaving oil and gas in the North Sea for Norway to exploit and then we buy if off them!

As Pat Mcfadden said all Labour think about is who they can tax next to pay for more benefits….
Next budget may well include the dumbest economic policy of all time.
The clue is in the name - Capital Gains Tax - means gains on capital that you’ve invested and put at risk. Tax it as if there’s no risk involved and fewer people will invest. Bad for jobs, bad for the economy.
Also bad for tax receipts - you only pay CGT when you sell stuff, so people who’ve invested and own stuff already will defer selling stuff until a future govt sees sense and lowers CGT.
Utterly stupid sixth-form economics.

This is great news. We have exported billions of spending £ to other EU countries. It has cost the Treasury billions as tourists buying goods can claim vat back on departure everywhere else except the UK! This will be a net tax positive measure by Kemi- and boost UK tourism.

The Mail are reporting that Burnham is contemplating an early election so he can legitimately inflict extra tax rises on top of his tourist tax and so called mansion tax.
He will be a smash, grab and tax Prime Minister. He can never cut the cloth when he has alarm clock Britain who work all the hours to provide for their family and then pay for the growing number of other people’s families on benefit street.
So call the early election Andy and let the voices of middle Britain roar “Enough”!
