Yahya Khan abrogated 1962 Constitution & imposed martial law in 1969. Yahya never accepted the 1970 election results; he wanted to cling to power unconstitutionally. A false & fabricated narrative was built to blame Shaheed #ZulfikarAliBhutto, who was neither in power nor holding any official position at the time. Qayyum Nizami who was who remained close associate of Shahhee Bhutto said, he was in the Jalsa, & Bhutto Sahab never said “Udher hum udher tum”, it was a newspaper headline, the creator of the headline Athar Abbas also gave his clarification that Bhutto never said that.
