As kids, on #GandhiJayanti, DD used to show Gandhi, a must watch with the entire family. Later films like The Making of the Mahatma, Gandhi My Father, Munna Bhai MMS, Swades and Hey Ram etc carried his legacy forward. These were critically acclaimed and won many national and international awards.
BJP tried to do the same with - PM Narendra Modi. Vivek Oberoi, who played Modi, left Vishwaguru and shifted to Dubai, and the less we talk about the movie, the better.
