San Francisco just gave final approval to an 820-foot residential skyscraper. Here are the revised plans for 10 South Van Ness: • 67 stories • 921 homes (681 condos + 240 apts) • 70 affordable homes • 352 bike spaces • 105 car parking spaces • 1.59 million total square feet All on a 1.1-acre triangular lot at Market & South Van Ness. The location has a lot of great transit options...Muni is literally next door, Van Ness BRT runs past the site, BART is nearby. At 820 feet, the tower would be nearly as tall as the Transamerica Pyramid. Also this is interesting: the developer donated the land at 1979 Mission Street to the city as part of its affordable housing requirements. That site is now expected to eventually produce another 382 affordable homes, with the first phase already under construction. Now comes the hard part... $RKLB traded north of $150 in May. Today, it’s around $62, even after reporting better than expected Q2 sales in August and giving a solid outlook for Q3. A big part of that May surge was driven by the hype surrounding $SPCX IPO, so some pullback made sense, but the company itself hasn’t suddenly fallen apart. At $62, $RKLB is nearly 60% below those May highs. If this isn’t one of the best discounts in the market right now, I don’t know what is.

I think people sleep way too much on Rocket Lab. They are best positioned of all (besides SpaceX) to build out their own constellation. I also believe in Stoke and Relativity and Blue Origin tho

Rocket Lab has filed a formal protest with the Government Accountability Office challenging NASA’s award decision for the Mars Telecommunications Network. NASA’s award decision appears to be inconsistent with the eligibility criteria mandated by Congress. In addition, the agency’s punitive review of Rocket Lab's technical volume was inconsistent, making incorrect assertions and conclusions. Procurement standards exist to ensure fair competition and protect public investment. We are pursuing this review to ensure those standards are upheld for critical infrastructure that will underpin American exploration at Mars for decades to come.
