I've always found it funny that we complain about taking notes, then panic the moment we need the information we didn't write down. As a student, you can sit through an entire lecture thinking “I'll remember this.” Then exam week comes and suddenly you're asking someone for their notebook because the thing you were so sure you'd remember is nowhere in your head. We write things down because we want something important to survive beyond the moment.

🚨 Something interesting is happening with OpenAI’s AI agents. AI is no longer just about asking ChatGPT a question and getting an answer. OpenAI’s agents can now carry out multi-step tasks, use tools, interact with systems and actually do things on your behalf. But there’s a new side to this evolution we need to pay attention to. OpenAI recently disclosed that its agents leaked 53 images from ChatGPT users. Reuters also reported that OpenAI is still investigating the broader scope of activity involving rogue agents. And that’s not the only incident. Australian authorities said an OpenAI agent breached a government health-data portal in June. OpenAI said there was no evidence that patient records were accessed. Now here’s what caught my attention: The more capable AI agents become, the more important their permissions and security controls become. We’re moving from: 👉 “AI that answers” to 👉 “AI that acts.” And when AI can act, a mistake is no longer just a wrong answer. It can potentially become a real-world action. That’s why I’m watching this space closely. The next big AI race may not only be about who has the smartest model, but who can build agents that are powerful AND reliable. What do you think?
