Irish nationalism has always been spiritually brown
When I was in Ireland this summer, I saw more Palestinian flags than I did Irish ones.
A spiritually third world people if there ever was one. Their minds have been completely warped by a desire to counter-signal the Americans and British as much as possible, to the point where they will destroy their own country and hand it over to Africans and Muslims just to stick it to the Americans or Brits.
I genuinely feel bad for Irish nationalists on the Right, who truly believe in the idea that Ireland should govern itself for the sake of the Irish. "Irish nationalism" now entails dissolving your own country for the sake of solidarity with the third world.

The church which I do my daily prayer in has solid wood kneelers. This might be common in Europe, I’m not sure, but it isn’t in the US. I actually prefer them to the padded kneelers we see in the US. It serves as a reminder that following Christ is not easy nor comfortable.

It is important to note that this was done in a lab, not on a person. However, should this technology advance to the point where it could be safely done on someone, I see no issue with this. I don't view this as being any different than any other medical procedure we might do to correct a congenital heart condition, for example. It is vastly different to say, scan for this extra chromosome and then kill the embryo or fetus that has it.
Would be curious to hear what other people think, though.
