The IDF published a detailed response to the film NAZA, saying that it presents a “distorted, misleading and disingenuous picture,” an exact description of the IDF’s own response. Since October 2023, we’ve collected countless soldier testimonies from Gaza, so let us break it down: 1. IDF claim: The IDF’s binding orders explicitly, unequivocally, and clearly distinguish between terrorists and uninvolved civilians in Gaza. In reality: On the ground, the rules looked very different. The IDF may have fired “only” at people it, the IDF, classified as terrorists, but that raises the crucial question of who counted as a terrorist: someone who crossed an unmarked line and entered a “no-go zone,” stood on a roof and was deemed a “spotter”, or, in some cases, did nothing at all and was retroactively incriminated. Testimony: breakingthesilence.org.il/te… On retroactive incrimination: x.com/BtSIsrael/status/20969… 2. IDF claim: The IDF denies ever having a 200-casualty approval-authority threshold for military objectives, or approving or carrying out such a strike in Gaza In reality: Le Monde recently published several testimonies from soldiers describing the IDF’s authorisation of up to 300 civilian deaths as collateral damage in a strike targeting Hamas brigade commander Ibrahim Biari nearly three years ago. The strike killed 126 people, including 68 children. The testimonies: lemonde.fr/en/international/… 3. IDF claim: AI does not decide who or what is designated as a target, or whether a strike is carried out; humans make those decisions. In reality: True, but as our former executive director @AGvaryahu put it, "AI has broken through the human bottleneck that once constrained every army, enabling an unprecedented rate of target production." This was compounded by “automation bias”, the tendency to place almost automatic trust in decisions made by a computer. The IDF insists that every decision is subject to human oversight, but that becomes almost irrelevant when the decision presented to a soldier is already the product of a system generating targets at a pace and on a scale no human can examine in depth within a narrow decision-making window. Avner Gvaryahu's article: haaretz.com/opinion/2026-09-… 4. IDF claim: The IDF’s binding orders have never automatically authorised strikes on targets expected to put a predetermined number of civilians at risk: for example, 20 civilians in a strike targeting a low-ranking operative. In reality: From October 2023 until at least December 2024, the IDF allowed up to 20 civilians to be killed for every low-ranking Hamas operative as a standard collateral-damage threshold. Combined with the sheer number of targets and the number of strikes carried out each day, this resulted in enormous numbers of civilians being killed. Testimony: breakingthesilence.org.il/te… 5. IDF claim: The IDF’s binding orders do not allow an evacuation warning issued for a particular area to be treated as permission to carry out strikes there while disregarding the presence of civilians who remained. In reality: The IDF designated areas where at least 75% of residents had evacuated as “combat zones,” which could then be bombed. Even that assessment was only a rough estimate based on partial data. But don’t take our word for it. Here’s the soldiers' testimony: breakingthesilence.org.il/te… 6. IDF claim: The IDF reviews strike outcomes and civilian-harm reports. Reviews have prompted debriefs; suspected violations are examined separately and may lead to criminal investigations. In reality: As of September 2026, Israel is publicly known to have convicted two soldiers for harming Palestinians: one for abusing detainees and one for looting. Neither was convicted for killing a Palestinian. Importantly, when the standard collateral-damage threshold is already as high as 20 people for a single low-ranking operative, the killing of 19 innocent women, children, elderly people, or men would not trigger an investigation. The strike would still fall within the authorised collateral-damage threshold. See the testimony in section 4. 7. IDF claim: Allegations of misconduct relating to shooting incidents near aid distribution centres have been referred for examination. In reality: More than 1,000 people were killed at GHF centres. Many more were shot nearby. This continued for many months. According to soldiers’ testimonies, the IDF used live fire to “direct the population” — that is, firing without aiming directly at people to signal to those arriving at distribution centres where the boundaries of the permitted area were. haaretz.com/middle-east-news… In conclusion, we have an extensive body of testimony explaining the reality that all of us have witnessed in Gaza over the past three years. The horrifying picture before us is not the result of procedural violations. The problem lies in the procedures and orders themselves, in directives that originate at the highest levels of the IDF and the Israeli government. That is what needs to be investigated.
A year after the IDF attack on Nasser Hospital killed 22 people, including five journalists, new information emerged in international media, including testimony we collected from a soldier on the IDF’s damage-control tactics in the aftermath, “retroactive incrimination."

The late, great John Pilger on Going Underground, discussing the US’🇺🇸 obsession with Iran🇮🇷: ‘The US obsession with Iran goes back to the fall of the Shah of Persia, who was one of the main pillars of US so-called foreign policy in the Middle East. And when that came down in 1979, the US has never really recovered its sense, its equilibrium, if you like, its power in the Middle East. It wants Iran back. If not back, it wants to deny Iran the independence of the Iranian state. Now, why Trump in particular is obsessed with this, I don’t know. But why shouldn’t he be? He’s an American president. He’s doing what American presidents always do. The fact that he’s Trump then causes apoplexy in the media and the intelligence agencies and so on, for the very good reason that he’s exposed America without a mask. America and the presidency without a mask is Trump. He’s a caricature, and he does what he wants to do.’
Col. Lawrence Wilkerson: Iran🇮🇷 has figured out that the US🇺🇸 LIES and cheats 'Iran is doing what one would expect them to do. Real diplomatic negotiations have never taken place. These recent negotiations in Qatar were simply people going back and forth from the two rooms. You can't build trust that way, and trust is the most important part of diplomacy. Iran has figured it out: we are duplicitous, we lie, we cheat, we hide behind supposed diplomacy in order to drop more bombs. They are at the middle of the escalation ladder right now. They own that middle. They can go higher. They don't want to because it would mean that their allies, China and Russia in particular, would probably be hurt too, because we're talking about global recession, perhaps even depression, if they go on with their target list and take out things like Ras Tanura. Right now, you don't just have the Bab el-Mandeb and the Strait of Hormuz. You have the Panama Canal. So we have the whole world jammed up right now' -Col. Lawrence Wilkerson, former Chief of Staff at the State Department, on the latest episode of New Order. Watch the full interview in the quoted post below. 👇

Remember when they struck the B1 traffic bridge in Karaj and then had the audacity to claim it was being used to transport IRGC logistics and fortifications even though the bridge had not yet opened to traffic? Today, those same voices are calling Russia’s attack on a traffic bridge in Kyiv a war crime!! Your moral standards should not change between Kyiv and Karaj. A war crime is a war crime, whether committed in Iran by the United States and Israel or in Ukraine by Russia.

Potential 2028 Democratic presidential candidate Rahm Emanuel says that before accusing Israel of genocide in Gaza, critics on the left must reckon with Sudan, Armenia, Cambodia and Ukraine. Three of those four cases are broadly recognized as genocide, with no controversy on the progressive left. The Armenian genocide is among the best-documented genocides of the 20th century. A UN-backed tribunal convicted Khmer Rouge leaders of genocide in Cambodia, and UN investigators have found the RSF’s campaign in Darfur bears the hallmarks of genocide. Neither Amnesty International nor Human Rights Watch has concluded that Russia is committing genocide in Ukraine, though both have documented Russian war crimes and crimes against humanity.
Welker: Abdul El-Sayed says Israel is committing a genocide of Palestinians in Gaza. Do you see what is happening in Gaza as a genocide? Emanuel: If you're going to use that term, then we've got to have a conversation about Sudan... Ukraine... Cambodia.

A new Israeli documentary is setting the record straight. NAZA: The Real Story offers a firsthand account from senior IDF commanders and intelligence officers who were directly involved in the fight against Hamas in Gaza. Using combat footage, declassified materials, captured intelligence, and firsthand testimony, the documentary provides important context about how the war was fought and the challenges Israeli forces faced on the battlefield. Here are some corrections and clarifications on charlatan @Mr_Andrew_Fox's latest disinformation about military history (it's impressive that he packed so much disinfo into such a short post!): 1) The French Government estimates 1,741 civilian deaths at Caen, out of a population of 65k; that's 2.7%, not "5%." 2) This bloodletting took place over eight months, not two; both the bombing (January–May 1944), & the invasion (6 June - 30 Aug 1944). 3) The carpet bombing of Caen, which led to this massive rate of attrition, as well as the Normandy operations more generally, are hugely controversial among military historians. They are not accepted as some kind of moral exemplar. Read Antony Beevor’s D-Day for a good introduction to this subject. 3a) Still - as I've written elsewhere, in response to hasbara prof @ProfDBernstein raising the same points - "the Allies fighting the Germans in Normandy have vastly more mitigating factors to point to than Israel did against Third World Militia "Khamas" in Gaza. The invasion of Normandy was the largest battle of the entire Second World War in Europe on the Western Front, featuring a few million soldiers, and countless tanks and artillery pieces (on both sides). So it was vastly more difficult for the Allies to limit collateral damage than it would've been in Gaza (had the Israelis made a good faith effort to do so)." 4a) 4%, not 3%, of Gazans were killed. That's 1/25 people and of course excludes many tens of thousands of injured, orphans, widows, widowers, etc. 4b) This, despite the attempts by charlatan Fox to belittle it, is the highest rate of attrition in any war zone in the 21st century. 4c) The IDF has also killed more women, and more children, than any military or militant group in the 21st century. 5) Genocide requires the specific intention to destroy a people in whole or in part. The Allies, despite their extensive crimes, had no intention to destroy the French people, or the people of Normandy. The Israelis did in Gaza; they intended to destroy Gaza and drive the people out, through murder and razing everything.
