Kind reminder that it is SO easy to prove you don’t use AI as an artist. If you see someone is accused and they start giving excuses like “my files got corrupted, i dont feel comfortable drawing live/recording, im experimenting with styles!” etc. red flags to me. (Take it with nuance obv) File corruption happens rarely. In my art career of 10+ years it only happened ONCE when my pc crashed. And even then, there is a backup folder. You can always draw on paper with pencils to show and clear any suspicion.

i feel like... a lot of ppl can't tell when art is heavily referencing ai because they have untrained eyes.... and its a bit disappointing...

Usually it's skill gaps between the fundamentals. For example, having perfect proportions, clean line art and harmonious colors but very poor and amateur shading/rendering. Another one is vibes. If u feel the art has the same typical face/atmosphere Ai usually has, be suspicious
