Alternatives exist!
Plastic waste is fuelling a global crisis - and our planet can’t wait.
In Parliament, I called for a bold, legally binding Global Plastics Treaty that tackles the root problem: overproduction. We must put people and planet before polluting industries.
From local champions like Plastic Free Forest Gate and eco-warriors in Maryland primary school, to Stratford’s own Earthshot Prize winners @notpla removing over 26 million single-use items - Stratford and Bow is already showing what’s possible.
Now the world must catch up.
