performance engineering and it’s just reducing the distance between your servers can’t beat physics
"Where the hell is this latency coming from" Apparently half our servers/db are in a different part of the country Anyways, we just reduced latency by 300ms

Antigravity 2.0 now features a dedicated planning mode, just like the Antigravity CLI. Type /plan and the agent steps back to think through the task, and conduct extensive research, before generating an implementation plan for your review. The agent will ask for your approval before it begins executing on the task. You can also ask for a plan naturally in your prompt, for a lighter version of a plan.

surprise surprise, software should be a black box for users, not for its creators
I ported the Omarchy screensaver engine (ttfx) from Rust to x86-64 assembler, and it's up to 17x faster!! One-shot translation by Opus 5.5. We keep drilling until the agentic drill bit hits bedrock! github.com/omacom/ttfx/pull/…

Codex please, I am begging you. I am giving you access to a private repo that I own, with years of commit history from myself, and asking you to verify a vulnerability report so I can make my own software more secure. I promise I have permission from myself. 🤦

I’ve been building a new home office (plus other things of course) for 4 years and it’s finally almost complete! Missing lots of details still that’ll take a few more weeks, but truly can’t wait to work out of here every day. The desk and coffee table are completely custom. The desk is a convertible standing desk. The coffee table is actually a convertible desk (you can lift half its top out and it becomes sitting desk height). The sliding glass on the other side fully pockets so I can have a fully open office. It faces west so it gets the ocean breeze. The millwork includes a drawer dishwasher, a full espresso machine, fridge and more. Coffee and tea within easy access. Lots of work and care to make the HVAC, speakers, lights, networking, outlets, etc as hidden as possible or reasonable. From the other side we have a totally outdoor hallway (CA baby) with a sitting area overlooking some trees (cushion still being made so it’s just bare atm). Dream office. Almost complete.

I used Opus 5.5 to formally verify the Claude Agent SDK using Lean. A couple short prompts = 16 PRs fixing various bugs and race conditions. Video attached. TLA+ also works well. I sometimes combine Lean and TLA+ to look for issues around data flow, concurrency, and state mgmt. I don't know either language well, but Claude is excellent at both. This approach is super useful for formally modeling your code and finding bugs that a human probably wouldn't have spotted. Is formal verification the future of coding (or at least, bug finding)?
