So, the US Dollar Index $DXY is threatening to break out of a year-long range? But Latin American Currencies are looking to complete a classic Wyckoff-style accumulation pattern vs the US Dollar? One of these will be wrong.

Or what if the DXY broke out but didn鈥檛 reach a serious enough threshold?
Seems $DXY needs to get to 106.75 or higher before we see $SPY have any noticeable percentage decline.

Can it be both? If the DXY is primarily weighted to the Euro and Yen, can鈥檛 DXY go up, and other, smaller, currencies go up too?

Not a year-long, and it already has broken out, but you're close.
